Battle Systems
Tales Series always have the BEST battle system and each year of creating the next Tales Of , new battle system will be created !And yeah , Tales Of Xillia 2 has obtained their own unique battle system namerd XDR-LMBS (Cross Double Raid - Linear Motion Battle System) . From the first Tales Series's battle system , LMBS (Linear Motion Battle System) of Tales of Phantasia to now , XDR-LMBS is a level-upped from the previous story's battle system DR-LMBS (Double Raid Linear Motion Battle System) .
So , the uniqueness of this Battle System is that you can shift weapons (though this is only exclusive for Ludger , but you can feel the increasing systems ) like Tales Of Graces's SS-LMBS(Style Shift Linear Motion Battle System) .
Ludger can switch to three weapons as you see above , twin blade , twin gun and also hammer .

Unlike the original Xillia , Tales Of Xillia 2 has two types of link artes which is Common Link Artes and Unique Link Artes . The image above shows Common Link Artes , which two party can perform .

Allows Ludger to switch weapons during battle

Allows Alvin to enter his Charge Mode , giving him the ability to use Charge Artes (powerful altered versions of his basic artes)

Staff Expansion
Makes Leia's staff expand longer , giving her increased attack power and range .
Elise
Allows Tipo to attack together
Rowen
Allows Rowen to cast magic fast
Note : Milla and Jude's special abilities is not shown yet , please stay tuned because I'll update it when there is update 8D Btw , like I say before , Elle is not PLAYABLE in battle !
SKIT SYSTEM
What is a skit?
If you've played any Tales Series games , you must already knew what Skit is !
(Skit was a trademark of the Tales Series game ,,, in every Tales game , there is a skit )
So , skit , is a short moment where the characters talk .
(Is it just me or wasn't Vell remind you of Daisy from Sket Dance?PS:Vell will be explained after this)
So basically , I'm reminding you NOT TO skip the skit scene by pushing the START button . This once happen to me because I always skip the skit scene and I didn't know what Skit is for = u = And then I restarted the game because , SKIT IS SERIOUSLY AWESOME !!! You get to know the character well , too many funny thing until you explode ! DUDEEEE DON'T EVER SKIP ITTTT !!! Oh sorry again , did I off-subject ? =w=
And so , dedicated to the title "RPG Where Choices Spins The Future" , you'll need to press either L1 or R1 following your own choices / remember that this system is part of the game , same as events . This system is like Persona's game basically . We still didn't know whether Ludger talks or no after choosing the line =w=

MIRRORING
The "intimacy parameter" that Ludger shares with each character . The choices he makes in character episodes—free missions with the other characters—and long chats help strengthen your relationships. Depending on your relationship level, you may see special chats after battles and learn new Artes and skills as well.
Tales Of Xillia 2 is going to be released at 1 November 2012 .
