New Tales of Xillia 2 Tidbits - 100 cats to find and new shop special custom orders

The latest issue of Famitsu magazine reveals new tidbits about Tales of Xillia 2:

The Cat Dispatch Quest, where the lady living in the same apartment building as Ludger is requesting the party to help find her cats, it will consist of a total of 100 cats. That’s… a lot of cats, lady.
Aside from the usual buying/selling directly at shops in the game, they will also feature new “Special Custom Orders” where you can hand over some raw materials and some Gald for special weapons and armor. I’m still unsure exactly how “custom” they have these items.

Gaius: Why do you have to exert yourself to that extent?Ridou: I am not telling you.

Milla: Sorry, I would've believed in what you said if it wasn't because of your action.
Julius: I'm glad that you're being honest, but Origin won't think the same.

Musee?: To test whether humans hold that character or not is what Origin's judgment is, correct?
Gaius?: That means if you want to reach the Land of Canaan, you must comply with Origin's judgment then.
???: Origin is trying to give humans a chance to evolve, as a puzzle which conceals peace for them to solve.

Elle: Someone, just do something! Elle and Ludger have nothing to do with this. There's something...more important than the promise!

Ludger's voice ON and OFF

Apparently, in the game's first playthrough, Ludger is made to have very little voiced dialogue so that players will get to feel like they're the main character first. So, in the second playthrough, you then get an option that lets you "turn on" Ludger's voiced dialogue. I think this means that even his choices and what not in the second playthrough will be voiced then.

In the previous Xillia, attacking your enemies with their weaknesses would only result in an increase in damage. This time, Xillia 2 adopts a weak point link system similar to what Tales of Destiny, Tales of Hearts and Tales of Graces have. In Xillia 2, there are 9 attributes for attacks available: Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Light, Shadow, Slash, Strike and Pierce. So, aside from the fixed increase in damage whenever you attack with enemy weakness, cooperating with a different attribute will increase the damage even more. This also seals enemy counterattack. As usual though, enemies have resistance to some attributes. Attacking them with their resistance shows the "REDUCE!" message, while attacking them with their weakness show the "WEAK!" message.
